how are these delivered?
The finished product will be one web and one print-resolution file delivered by email, which you can use to share online or get printed anywhere you like!*
People have used their illustrations to create framed gifts, art prints, canvas prints, holiday cards, and guest books – the options are limitless!
If you would like your piece pre-printed and shipped to you, I offer a printing add-on for an additional charge to cover printing and shipping costs. If interested, I will include this in your estimate.
can I Commission an illustration for my brand?
Yes, if you purchase a commercial license! Commercial licensing is priced on a case-by-case basis, so if you would like to use one of my illustrations for the promotion of your business or brand, or for any sort of monetary gain, make sure to select the Yes to Commercial Licensing on my Request Form and tell me more about it in the description box.
Based on your description, I will include a commercial licensing add-on in your official estimate.
Unless a commercial license is purchased, all commissions are for personal use only, and I still retain the rights to any images created.
AI POLICY: I do not give consent to allow anyone to feed my work into technologies that are capable of generating works in the same style or genre as my work, even if a client has purchased a commercial license.
what's the Timeline look like?
Once I receive your completed request form and accept it, I will email you a detailed price quote, questions about things I need clarified, or answers to any questions you included in your form.
From there we will discuss the timeline of work and payments if needed, any other necessary details, and decide on a scheduled start date.
Note: at this time, my normal turnaround is anywhere from 2-4 weeks from starting, depending on the commission size and how many others I already have scheduled – if you need your piece done by a certain date I highly recommend ordering it at least 1 month in advance. Sometimes I can take on rush orders, but this will depend on my current workload.
how about payment?
Once the estimate is approved by you, I will convert it into a PayPal invoice. PayPal and all major credit cards are accepted. For all commissions $250 or less, that are to be started immediately, payment is due up front, before any work is begun.
For commissions over $250, generally, a 50% deposit will be due before work begins. This deposit will be credited towards the total balance, and the remaining 50% will be due once the work is completed, before the final files are delivered to you.
For larger, more lengthy projects, we can break things down into milestones, and create a custom payment schedule if needed.
For commissions scheduled over a week in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your spot. This will be credited towards your total remaining balance.
